As South African music continues to gain momentum globally, DJs, producers and promoters need a stronger understanding of the business, legal and rights-management aspects of the industry to maximise opportunities and build sustainable careers.

SAMRO proposes this industry engagement event to educate and empower upcoming and middle-tier DJs and producers, while also engaging festival promoters and event organisers on key issues affecting the music ecosystem, providing practical insights into licensing, royalties, membership, copyright, legal compliance and industry best practices, and highlighting opportunities for South African creators to expand beyond local borders.
