Minimum requirements:
- Chartered SecretariesSouth Africa or similar qualification, plus a relevant Law degree.
- 10 years experience
- Extensive knowledge ofbusiness administration as it pertains to Company Secretary duties.
- Good understanding andworking knowledge of the Companies Act and codes of best practices in relation tocorporate governance.
- Confidence tocommunicate with people at all levels and raise matters that may warrant theattention of the Board.
- Excellent Englishskills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent computerskills.
- The ability to detectlegal risks in projects and to recommend viable solutions.
- Membership of theChartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa / Admitted attorney/advocateis advantageous.
